It Comes Calling

This is an article I have wanted to write about for a while, but given the most recent events with CoVID-19, it has been rather difficult getting this script out in the proper format. With all the mass hysteria going on, it makes it almost impossible to word to today's situation. Even with the new additions of sudden vaccines for coronavirus popping up aren't able to quell the panic around the world. We know deep down that these studies will take time and not fix the pandemic almost immediately. I honestly wish that is how it worked. Can you believe how many times we could save the world if our pace was nothing but instant? It is achievable, however, that seems VERY far into the future. As time goes on, we do indeed see improvements to the pandemic but at the cost of more cases being reported around the globe. I give out my best wishes for you all, who are making the most of staying home and keeping healthy as well as safe from infection. We can fight this together as long as we keep to, unfortunately, social-distancing and self-quarantine. It doesn't feel right in the human species but it is what we have to do is we are going to make it through this disaster. With that in mind, lets jump into today's topic.

Opportunity is everywhere. Some of you don't even see it coming until the very last minute, or some know exactly which path they take. It is just a curious but fascinating way of how our world works. In fact, you could say that this world is FILLED to the brim with opportunity. Everywhere you are, where you go, who you even meet, there's always a chance for you to grab hold of something greater than before. Even such things as a talent, wish, or a dream, whatever you want to call it, there always seems to be the chance "encounters" of individuals that help us in those specific fields. Ever notice that? Surely meetings like these can only be identified as chance, but what if it wasn't? What if it was on purpose? That the people you meet were not just there by luck? We have a superstition in this world called the "Law of Attraction". I honestly only learned about it a year or so ago from a a close family friend and it was 'the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life.' Honestly, after being here for a couple years, I am becoming a believer in that law. It is just fascinating, because I've met so many people that have helped me advance to the next step in my career, all from just staying positive and smiling to my hearts content. However, it isn't instant, these things take time. You have to be patient in order to grasp the goal you are going for. Every single day I am at my job, I am always expecting to catch the "big fish", the one who is going to help my life soar. There are tiny encounters every so often, but not big enough. Some get discouraged after seeing that no matter what they do to keep themselves positive, nothing happens in return. Its a give-and-take situation in this world of ours. That is why we have to CONTINUE. OUR. STORY.

Just because you get discouraged one time, does that mean the end for you? Even if all you've done over the years, everything you've built yourself up for; every single minute spent honing your talent, your dream. What if you couldn't do it? What if you had that doubt laying deep within you constantly telling you that you aren't good enough. It is easy to overcome, but what if you can't overcome it? What would you do then?

I will tell you what you shouldn't do, and that's to give up. Because this is a world filled with opportunity. Remember? Even if things go south for you, then that doesn't mean everything is over. You can strive for new goals, new opportunities. Everyone has their path, but there is always a different one they can take. I know this is true because I have faced a lot of internal and external hardships in my career. Acting is tough, there is no question about it. Even today, that controversial voice is still within me, still trying to drag me down to the depths, where I will never be able to see the light again. But, as time went on, I was able to find a way for that voice to slowly fade away. A piece of it chips away from my heart after each article I write on this very page. The same can be said for you right? So do it. Find new goals if things aren't working for you, or keep believing in yourself and watch your path unravel in the greatest success imaginable. As for that image, well, I will leave that up to you.
